Phil Wright is returning to the Racing Hondas Championship grid for the 2026 season, this time in an S2000R.
The car is currently unwrapped, as shown in recent images, but will soon follow the rest of the S2000R grid with a JDM-inspired livery.
After competing in Class A last season, Phil now faces a new challenge with rear-wheel drive for the first time.
“I’m a little bit uncertain on the speed of the car in Class B and the speed of me in a RWD car,” he said. “However, I feel a lot less pressure this year than normal as it’s a learning year in RWD, as I’ve never raced a RWD car.”
With a fresh setup and a focus on learning, 2026 will be a season of development for Phil as he adapts to the S2000R.
