The Class A title and Overall Championship runner-up positions will both be decided at Snetterton this weekend – here’s a quick guide to who’s got to do what.
In Class A, it’s Will Self vs Philip Wright for the title. For P2 in the Overall Championship, it’s very close between Self and last year’s Overall Champion Ryan Cunningham, with Wright the outside contender.
Also worth noting: Sunday’s two races cannot be counted as dropped scores – drivers could only discard their two worst results up to and including Knockhill’s penultimate rounds.

Meanwhile, here’s how many points will be available as Finals Day unfolds:
- Going into the day: 37
- After Qualifying: 32
- After Race 1: 16
Class A
Self leads Wright by 31 points (178 vs 147) heading into Sunday’s finale, with a maximum of 37 points available.
The maths are simple: if Self qualifies inside the top five and ahead of Wright, he could secure the title before racing even begins.
Bonus qualifying points (5-4-3-2-1) could move him at least 32 clear – the same number still available from the two races (15 for a win plus 1 for fastest lap in each).
In that case, Wright could no longer catch him, even on a tie, as Self’s six race wins comfortably eclipse Wright’s two.
To keep the title fight alive into the final race, Wright must effectively take pole, finish top two in Race 1, and hope Self fails to score – a tall order, but Finals Day has a habit of delivering surprises!
Behind them, it’s almost level between Liam Collins (122 pts) and Tommy Knight (120 pts) for P3. Both will want to end their seasons strongly – and both can still overtake Wright for second in Class A.
Kevin Talbot (103) and Bob Barron (95) could also influence the final standings.
Overall Championship
Dan Thackeray has already secured the Overall title after a dominant season in Class B.
Meanwhile, Cunningham, already confirmed as Class B runner-up, sits just five points behind Self overall (173 vs 178) – meaning P2 Overall could go to Self, Cunningham, or Wright, depending on how Sunday unfolds.
And It Ain’t Over Yet!
In Class B, Thackeray and Cunningham have locked in first and second, but Sam Linssner faces late pressure from Lewis Barker – a distant but not yet insurmountable 32 points adrift in the battle for third.
With titles, podiums, and pride all on the line, Snetterton’s Finals Day promises a thrilling climax to the Racing Hondas season!
