Dan Thackeray underlined his dominance in Class B at Knockhill, storming to pole, two wins and fastest laps for yet another maximum score of the season.

Thackeray’s performances not only put the Class B crown beyond reach, but also secure him the Overall Racing Hondas Championship title with a round to spare.

Now 48 points clear of Ryan Cunningham – absent from Scotland due to work commitments – Thackeray cannot be caught in Class B.

His closest Overall rival, Class A leader Will Self, is 45 points adrift with only 37 left to play for at Snetterton next month.

Similarly, Cunningham is safe in second, while Sam Linssner is almost assured third.

Linssner pushed Thackeray hard in Race 1 at Knockhill before settling for P2, adding a third in the wet Race 2.

Harry Greenhill, returning from injury, achieved a superb first podium in Class B with P3 in Race 1, while Lewis Barker bounced back from mechanical gremlins to take a career-best P2 in Race 2 – keeping alive his faint hopes of snatching third from Linssner in the standings.

Elsewhere, Luke Krassismenou impressed with fourth in Race 2 after a close scrap with Barker.

Daniel MacDonald showed strong pace on a one-off outing with Ben Sharpe Racing.

In Class C, the honours were shared between Callum Houchen and Matt Rowling. Their battle in Race 1 was exceptional with the nose of Rowling’s EP3 seemingly glued to the boot of Houchen’s FN2 throughout. Rowling is now assured of the Class C title.
