Dan Thackeray has provisionally sealed the Racing Hondas Championship’s Overall  and Class B title.

A flawless weekend at Knockhill – pole, two wins and two fastest laps in class – leaves Thackeray 45 points clear Class A leader Will Self in the Overall standings, with just 37 available in next month’s Snetterton finale.

Self finished second and third outright at Knockhill, but both races were won by a jubilant Bob Barron on home ground.

Barron’s two wins – his first in the championship – make him the fifth different driver to achieve outright race victories in 2025, joining Self, Philip Wright, Kevin Talbot and Tommy Knight.

Wright kept his Class A title hopes alive with fourth and second place finishes at the Fife venue, but trails Self by 31 points. Only a maximum haul for Wright at Snetterton – and trouble for Self – can effectively change the outcome. Fifth or better in Race 1 at Snetterton would hand Self the Class A crown.

Elsewhere, Knight secured an outright P3 in Race 1, while Class B saw podiums for Sam Linssner (P2, P3) and breakthrough results for Harry Greenhill (P3 on return from injury) and Lewis Barker (P2).

In Class C, Callum Houchen and Matt Rowling shared the wins, with Rowling putting the title out of reach.
