Dan Thackeray, Ryan Cunningham, Matt Rowling and Callum Houchen each claimed victories as Classes B and C produced dramatic racing at Oulton Park.

Thackeray set the tone in qualifying by shattering the Class B lap record by two seconds to take pole position, before converting it into a commanding Race 1 win ahead of Cunningham.

Race 2 delivered the category’s closest battle of the season so far. Spencer Fortag made the most of the reversed grid to lead in his 4Tag Civic FN2, fending off the EP3s of Ben Sharpe Racing’s Sam Linssner and Motion Motorsport duo Cunningham and Thackeray.

For several laps the quartet ran nose-to-tail in a tense scrap before Cunningham forced his way into the lead. Thackeray followed through into second and Linssner into third, as Fortag’s car slowed with a power failure, stopping on the racing line and forcing officials to bring the race to an early conclusion.

Thackeray’s results keep him in control of both Class B and the overall championship standings, while Cunningham remains his closest challenger. Linssner, third in both Oulton races, consolidated his hold on third in the Class B table. Meanwhile, Fortag’s loss was Owen Diver’s gain as he inherited a best-ever P4 in class in his Kinetic EP3.

Class C once again delivered fireworks as Rowling and Houchen resumed their fierce duel from Snetterton.

Rowling kept Houchen at bay in Race 1 to secure his eighth class win of the year, but Houchen struck back in Race 2.

After grabbing the early lead, he resisted relentless pressure from Rowling in a thrilling contest that also saw the pair dicing with several Class B runners. Houchen held on to secure his second win of 2025 by just 0.342s
