New team and driver James Kiff and KC Motorsport will join the Racing Hondas grid from May’s Brands Hatch rounds onwards.
Kiff, formerly a successful motorcycle competitor, will race a freshly built Honda Integra DC2 in Class A.
The 43-year-old hasn’t raced since injuring his back in a bike accident in 2018 – prior to that he won the NGRRC Superbikes newcomer title.
“Brands Hatch will be my first ever car race,” said the Barnstaple racer, an automotive locksmith by trade.
“I’ve had a few Civic FN2s for some trackday fun but the competitive side of me made me want to go racing again – I saw Racing Hondas and thought ‘that looks like the one’.
“The Integra has taken us four months to build up from what was a road going shell with a roll cage inside – originally meant for the Nurburgring.”
The Racing Hondas races at Brands Hatch on Sunday 15 May – rounds seven and eight of their championship – will take place as part of Club Time Attack ORG’s established TunerFest South modified car festival.
