Qualifying was fiercely competitive, with Barron edging Tommy Knight to pole position by less than two tenths of a second as the Kilted KSwaps and Knight Racing Civics set the pace around Cadwell.
Race 1 quickly swung in Barron’s favour after Knight lost second gear off the line, dropping him down the order. Fraser McNeill and Ryan Jenkinson capitalised immediately, although Jenkinson’s race unravelled after an off-track moment at Charlies left him laps down.
Out front, Barron was in complete control, leading from lights to flag to secure another victory ahead of Dave Buky, while McNeill claimed a hard-earned first podium finish of the season. Knight recovered to fourth but was left ruing the troublesome gearbox.
Race 2, however, belonged entirely to Tommy Knight.
With the reverse-grid draw putting James Alford on pole, Knight wasted no time charging into the lead and immediately building an advantage while Alford’s damaged EG Civic held up the chasing pack. By the time Barron fought his way into second, Knight was long gone.
The Knight Racing driver stormed to victory by over seven seconds to finally break Barron’s winning streak, with McNeill backing up his earlier podium with another strong third place finish ahead of Buky.
👉 Key takeaway: Barron remains the benchmark — but Knight has firmly entered the title fight.
CLASS B — Wright dominates early before dramatic DNF
Phil Wright continued the impressive start for the new Honda S2000R package by claiming Class B pole position and controlling Race 1 from the front.
The reigning frontrunner never looked troubled, taking another convincing win ahead of Lewis Barker and Sammy Mileham as the S2000R continued to prove itself immediately competitive.
But Race 2 produced the biggest shock of the weekend.
After climbing through the field once again, Wright’s S2000R suddenly stopped on the back straight, ending his perfect start to the season with a dramatic retirement.
That opened the door for Luke Sedzikowski, who delivered an entertaining drive in the Tegiwa-backed S2000R to secure his first-Class B victory of the season ahead of Sammy Mileham and Lewis Barker.
👉 Key takeaway: Wright still looks like the man to beat — but Cadwell proved the Class B fight is wide open.
Next Stop: Donington Park
The Racing Hondas Championship now heads to Donington Park for the next rounds of the 2026 season, with momentum building rapidly across both classes.
