The Racing Hondas Championship is delighted to announce the launch of the Tegiwa Scholarship, offering one aspiring driver the opportunity to win a funded arrive-and-drive package worth over £40,000 for the 2027 season.
Created and funded by Tegiwa, the Scholarship has been designed to identify and develop aspiring racing drivers from all backgrounds, providing a funded route onto the 2027 Racing Hondas Championship grid.
Open to drivers of all experience levels, the Scholarship is aimed at anyone with the ambition to go racing, whether they come from track days, sim racing, grassroots motorsport or have never competed before.
The Scholarship will take place at Blyton Park in October 2026, with entrants participating in a professional assessment programme delivered by experienced motorsport professionals, instructors and current professional racing drivers. The programme will include driving assessments, media and presentation exercises, fitness evaluation and driver development assessments designed to identify potential both on and off the circuit.
Following two Qualifying Days on 13th and 14th October, the top twelve candidates will progress to the Scholarship Final on 15th October, where they will complete further assessments in current Racing Hondas Championship race cars.
The Scholarship winner will receive a funded arrive-and-drive package for the 2027 Racing Hondas Championship season, including use of a fully-prepared race car, race entry fees, tyres, fuel, consumables, racewear, membership and registration fees, driver support and ARDS test if required.
In addition to the main prize, further awards will be available for the runner-up and third-place finisher, while all other participants will receive a pre-paid entry into a 2027 Racing Hondas Championship event together with a Tegiwa Sponsorship Account.
